Shay Bankston & Richard Strong- We
are pleased to announce new members to the CTH team of highly experienced
care providers! Shay Bankston and Richard Strong have just received their
license as Treatment Foster Parents. Shay is an LSW, MSW with
years of experience providing clinical services to SED children and
adolescents. Richard is a Deputy Sheriff who has mentored and
supervised at risk adolescents in residential care and in community programs.
Their home is near Reynolds Corners in Toledo
and they are eager to welcome referrals for boys,
ages 8 - 15.
Dale & Nancy Wolfe, LSW- Work with male youth 12-18. (419)

email. The Wolfes were trained as TP's at
the University
of Kansas in 1974. They
left positions as Co-Directors of a Teaching Family (T-F) Program in Vermont to work with Ohio youth in 1986. They have experience
as researchers, trainers, consultants, and evaluators for National T-F
programs. Both Dale and Nancy have undergraduate degrees and Dale has done
graduate work in Human Development. In 1995 Nancy, received her LSW. They share their
ten acre wooded property in Delta with adolescent foster sons and their
penchant for sled dogs.
Jan & Tom Stuber, LSW- Male youth between 10 - 18. Monclova OH (419) 877-0895; Stuber's email.
The Stubers began their child care career in 1990
as Professional Parents. Their years of child care experience made the
transition to full time an easy one. They received T-P training in 1992 from
national T-F trainers. Tom was a county juvenile probation officer and has a
degree. He received his LSW in 2002. Jan was previously an elementary school
teacher. They live in Monclova with their two children
and 12-18 year old foster sons.
Rick & Jo Ann Roberts- Females 9 - 18. (419) 825-2535 Fax

OH. The Roberts have been certified T-P's, held positions as directors
of training and evaluation, as well as residential care providers since 1973.
In 1993, Rick and Jo Roberts left positions as Co-Directors of a successful
group home program to become full time program providers. Most of their
community care experience has been with adolescent girls, and they have
continued to work with that population in this current position. The Roberts
live in a quiet residential neighborhood.
Mike & Cherie Collier- Professional Parents- Will accept pregnant
teens or teenage mothers with children. Delta OH (419) 822-3388; Collier's email. The
Colliers live in Delta and were once Alternate Care Providers for one of our
T-P couples. They have also provided step-down services for group home
clients. Mike and Cherie are our only family able to accept pregnant girls in
their home, having provided care for girls through delivery. They also have
the ability to provide mother and child care following delivery. Some of the
youth participate in the family hobby which is dogsledding!
Kathie & Gib Menough, MSW-Work with
male and female youth 12 and under. (419) 823-0194, Fax (419)715-1268. They
live outside of scenic Grand Rapids.
Gib and Kathie, after retiring as Executive
Director and Program Director, respectively, of a Lucas County Mental Health
Adolescent and Children's Agency, became foster parents. The Menough's have
been fostering since 1998. Their prior experience includes fostering sibling
groups preparing for adoption.
